Frequently asked questions regarding the upcoming Kiera/Diego litter :
~When will the puppies be ready for their new homes?
Diego's and Kiera's litter will be ready for their new homes April 28th, 2012.
~How much do the puppies cost?
Puppies currently available are $1300.
~Do you offer a health guarantee?
We offer a 2 year conditional hip/health guarantee on our puppies. The condition is that the puppy is NOT to be spayed/neutered before at least 14 months old.
After having done extensive research, we have found that mammals are healthier when their hormones are left in their natural balance at least until their bones are finished growing, which for a larger dog is about 14 months. However, we recommend waiting longer before spaying/neutering.
~Do you ship your puppies?
Yes, we do fly our puppies to their new families as long as the state is one of the 48 continental states (we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii).
We do not fly puppies to other countries, except Canada.
We generally charge a $400 flat fee for shipping which includes everything (vet health certificate, crate, airline fee).
~Do you home any of your dogs with breeding rights?
No, for many reasons we do not ever home any of our puppies with breeding rights.
~How large do you think the puppies will get?
We expect the males to get between 95-110 pounds and the females to be between 75-90 pounds.
~How do I go about holding a puppy in the litter?
A $300 deposit holds a particular pick of a particular gender in a litter. Order of pick of puppy depends on order of deposit received.
The deposit is non-refundable except in two cases: the first would be that the female did not have enough puppies in her litter, and the other is if the female did not get pregnant. In both the aforementioned cases, the deposit is fully refundable.
Should a family find that the timing of a litter is not right for them after all, they have the right to transfer the deposit to another litter within one year from the date of the deposit. After that, the deposit is forfeited.
