All of our dogs are a part of our family. They enjoy taking turns coming with us for walks on trails, walks around town, or simply for rides in the car.

We do not breed German Shepherds that have high drives, show any signs of undue aggression, nor do we breed dogs that show any signs of shyness or skittishness.

Our dogs are happy to go for walks or play a good round of fetch, but once back in the house, are calm and relaxed.

I am a strong believer of training and all of our dogs are solid in, or in the process of,basic obedience. Shepherds are smart, love a job, and are a lot of fun and easy to train with.

We have all of our dogs' hips checked before breeding, either by a vet with many years of experience reading hips if they're younger than 2 years old, or by OFA if they're 2 and older since that is the required minimum age before the OFA certifies a dog.

You will find all of our dogs long-coated. That is because we happen to find the "coated" shepherds beautiful! Many people are under the misconception that the longcoated shepherds shed more than the short-coated ones. In fact, quite the opposite is true. The longcoats don't shed all year 'round. They do, however, 'blow' their coats twice per year at which point they will need daily brushing for about 7 to 10 days. The rest of the year a weekly grooming which includes a brushing, nail-clipping, and an occasional ear cleaning is all the grooming a long-coat German Shepherd Dog needs.

Our main goal is to breed intelligent, healthy, and happy family companions that would also do very well as therapy dogs.

Please take a tour of our website and meet our dog-family if you haven't already done so.

Thank you and enjoy!
